Ann Marie
(You’re on my mind tonight)

Ann Marie you’re on my mind tonight

And I want you to know
that I appreciate you so
You’re the only one that sees me as I am

You put up with a lot
I love that strong will you’ve got
You’re the Best Thing that ever happened to me

Ann Marie you’re on my mind tonight
And my Love for you is growing all the time

Sometimes I push my luck
And I step over the line
Then you give me “the look’, the look that says it all

I don’t know what I’d do
Without Kate and Sean and you
You’re the Best Thing that ever happened to me

Ann Marie you’re on my mind tonight
And my Love for you is growing all the time

Let’s go down to the Keys(Kate and Sean will love it)
Let our spirit feel the breeze
It’s a long way, long way from the Bronx

When we look down the road
It’s off to Ireland we go
To that house we want overlooking the sea

Ann Marie you’re on my mind tonight
And my Love for you is growing all the time
Ann Marie you’re on my mind tonight

I love your honesty

You see the best in everything

Songnificance:  80's Rock Anniversary Song for Ann Marie from Sean.

Songimonial:
"This was the best anniversary present I ever got. In fact, It's the best gift I ever got."

Ann Marie, Brooklyn-New York

Songification Backstory: This song was written as an Anniversary gift from a husband to wife. This couple both grew up in the Irish section of the Bronx. And one day, because of their love for the Irish culture, they plan on buying a home off the coast of Ireland. That was placed in the lyric as a reminder of that goal. He wanted her to know that she was the best thing that ever happened to him and that she was the force in his life that kept him grounded. His job required him to be away a lot and he wanted her to know that he appreciated her holding the fort when he is gone.

Musically, he wanted the track to be kind of 80’s rock. They love going down to the keys, so in that part of the verse there is a tropical kind of beat to accent the sounds of the area. Their two young kids love hearing their names in the song. At the end of the song you actually hear the husband’s voice professing his love. Needless to say there were tears when this song was presented.
