Songification Backstory: Don described the first moment that he met his future wife, Alexa and I could tell it was one of those moments etched in his mind forever. A deep, undeniable connection. The kind of love you only read about.

It was particularly compelling that he was willing to be affected by her grace and patience, so much so that the “rough edges” he had were somehow smoothed out. You could tell he was very interested in how she came to be the way she was. What in her upbringing made her so appreciative. Those were the areas I chose to concentrate on in the song. Musically, I wanted to match the terms: patient, appreciative, embracing with a smooth flowing style of vibe. From all accounts, the reaction was superb.
